Chartered financial planning built around you, your goals, your life stage, and your future.
Whether you are navigating divorce, planning for retirement, building wealth, business ownership or sale or managing an inheritance, I provide specialist financial advice tailored specifically for women in Liverpool and across England.
Financial advice for women at every life stage

A different kind of financial adviser
“Financial advice that is built around you, not a template.”
I founded Her Financial Planning because I believe women deserve financial advice that truly understands their lives.
Too many of my clients have come to me after years of feeling talked at rather than listened to, given a sales pitch rather than a plan, or handed off to a generic process that ignored what actually mattered to them.
My approach is different. Every client I work with receives bespoke, personal advice built around their specific goals. I take the time to understand your full picture before I make a single recommendation.
I am a Chartered Financial Planner, shortlisted for the FT Adviser Diversity in Finance Awards 2025, and nominated as Financial Adviser of the Year for the North West. I am a member of Resolution, the specialist organisation for divorce financial matters, and a member of STEP, which reflects my expertise in inheritance and estate planning.
But more than credentials, what I bring is this: a genuine commitment to helping women make informed, confident decisions about their money.
Getting started is simple
Step 1: Book a 15-minute clarity call. No commitment, no jargon — just a conversation about where you are and what you need.
Step 2: I take the time to understand your full financial picture, your goals, and what matters most to you.
Step 3: I put together a clear, personal plan and walk you through it in plain language so you can make informed decisions with confidence.
Testimonial
“My husband and I approached Shalini with the goal of consolidating our pensions and finding someone we could trust to manage them together. We also wanted to maximise our returns as a couple and grow our pension pot to potentially retire earlier. Shalini’s personalised approach is outstanding - she truly understands us and our individual and shared financial goals. It’s great that we can work on this together, knowing she’s looking after both of our interests. We fully trust her and highly recommend her to anyone seeking sound financial advice.”
Whether you have a specific question or you are not yet sure where to start, the first step is a 15-minute clarity call. There is no obligation and no pressure, just a straightforward conversation about what you need.
Women across Liverpool, the North West, London and beyond choose Her Financial Planning for advice that is personal, specialist, and built entirely around them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q:Does financial planning differ for women compared to men?
A: Yes, women often face different financial journeys due to various factors, such as gender pay gap and longer life expectancy. My clients also prefer to get specialist financial advice in an empathetic and educational environment.

Regular meetings, at least annually. Your life is not static, neither are market conditions. It is important to review your financial plan and make adjustments if needed.
Some of my clients in Liverpool like having our meetings face to face, so we get a chance to have a coffee and catch up on what has happened in their lives and what goals have changed since we last spoke. I then relate this to tax, legal and investment changes to explain what action we need to take.
